Many of China's wealthy politicians and businessmen always have a back up plan for when things go wrong (usually when they get caught for bribery) which is to send their children overseas. Recently, the laws changed to allow ownership of private jets so it's even easier to escape at the last minute.
This reminds me of former President Ferdinand Marcos (of the Philippines). :l His escape (with the help of USA officials) was quite controversial. He evaded getting persecuted by the mass without a problem. *sigh*
Unfortunately it's not just China that's like that. Many countries all over the world are like that. The wealthy and powerful ones always have back-up plans for escape when they're caught. So sneaky and ready, these ones.
That too :/ It's all over the world, really. I don't understand why western countries always point their fingers at Asian, African, etc. countries for corruption and bribery. It happens in the western world too. It's just a hell of a lot better disguised.
