Well, here in the Philippines, they take all types of trash like water bottles, plastic bags, cans so they cans ell them to junk shops. Sometimes, they even sell tons of paper. Sometimes, they even steal bicycles from other people D: But at least, there is good that can be done with trash. We went to this certain person's house yesterday and I was really inspired by his eco-friendly residence. [link]
I have been enjoying the story so far. I believe there is a grammatical error or typo on this page though: rots should be rot, since the word factories is in the plural form. I hope that is some kind of helpful?
I have such a love-hate feeling for your comic. Brilliantly creative, but so depressing and cynical. >w< IT's like, "yea yea feel good and all that but who's the truth." At least I get the nice sense of knowing that someone feels I can handle the truth. I wonder if Sen has that feel?
I hate to appear the horrible person, but now that we know this, what are we going to do? I'm mildly annoyed by all the commemts about how horrible this all is. Stated as a fact, sure we can say things about how horrible the world is, but what are we going to do about it? Just saying things like that, without doing anything to help the cause, isn't that the same as seeing someone getting bullied and doing nothing? Yes it's wrong, but how can we prevent or help the victims? What are you doing right now, to help those who need it? Isn't that the real importance of of giving awareness to people? In the hopes that they'll do something instead of just saying "That's horrible" and then continuing to watch instead of helping.
Funny thing is that most of us know this, it's in the news, it's all around us. But we turn a blind eye to it because it's easier to believe that it doesn't happen anymore, thinking that the government or the people that have more power (money) than us are out there and fixing the problem. We give ourselves excuses, 'I'm too young' or 'I don't the time', or even worse, 'I can't. I'm not important enough'. I'm speaking from experience here so I can't preach to anyone else that they should do something when I'm not. But if I can admit that I know this then I can do something, because knowledge is power. I have knowledge, I will act on it.
This is sick! Children are too young to work, especially like this. They should spend their time with family and friends and go to school to learn math, science, history, and other things before they're old enough to get a job, a good job that is. This is not right.
sniff sniff Think of how I am right now on a computer typing up a comment while children in poverty are trying to save up all they can for a bowl of noodles........................................or lollipop
